As mentioned in the last article about the AR carbine, I decided to build a 9mm AR carbine as a toy. My goal was to keep the cost around $1,000 and come out with something that would use Glock mags and compare to my B&T APC9, which was impressive when the 300BLK SBR and carbine were compared.

And it is black in colour. The bottom also accepts Glock magazines, which was a big plus for me.
At the level, this host has created. My mags came out clean and loose using standard factory and extended Glock mags. Along with its use of standard mil-spec bolt grips, the open end bolt wheel is also flawless in 30 plus magazines.
Also of note, I built the machine with two NBS safeties, a Strike Industries extended fire machine safety, and a Magpulmo pistol. Finally, a couple of Magpul MBUSs were added.
When discussing this build with AR15Discounts, I decided that I wanted something better than mil-spec, but nothing too expensive, also, I was trying to beat the B&T APC9 for the price.
